Why do I see a grey screen after logging into the website.

If the map has not loaded after a brief moment, it is possible you have not granted Gippea access to your 'Location'. Access to your location is necessary to view primary features.

How do I grant Gippea access to my 'Location'.

When you navigate to Gippea you will be prompted to allow Gippea to access your location. If you decline the request, Gippea will occasionally request access to your location after you have logged in.

I have previously granted access to my 'Location' and Gippea is requesting access to my location again.

It is possible previous Cookies have been cleared and Gippea requires those Cookies to be reinstated to provide primary services.

What is an Experience.

An Experience is a user's lived event or conscious moment recorded as media content.

I cannot upload a picture or video on my device into an Experience.

To maintain authentic content, the uploading of media from a device is not permitted.

The Experience list does not include what I want.

We update the list regularly to provide greater alignment to users interests.

How many Experiences can I assign to one media content.

We permit one Experience to be assigned to each media content.

How do I access Experience media content.

Users can click/tap Experience Markers (the coloured circles) on the map page or the Experience listing on a user profile.

What are the emoji icons on the left-hand side of the map page.

Those emoji icons relate to users primary emotional response of an Experience and also filter Experience Markers on the map page.

Do the emoji icons feature anywhere else other than the map page.

The emoji icons/emotional response features in most interaction content, for example user comments and messaging.

What is the purpose of the icons on the right-hand side of the map page.

Those icons filter Experience Markers, for example by user posts and by picture or video content.

What is the maximum length of video content.

We have a 1 minute video recording limit.
